A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!

Hello there! My name is Brandie Desso-Penn, I am currently 19 years young. I currently live in the beautiful sweet southern state of Eastern North Carolina were I was born and raised with my amazing husband, who is from down state New York! His name is Nathan, he is 20 years young and is an MP in the United States Marine Corps. We got married on April 16, 2011 and ever since our lives have been some kind of crazy. We are currently going our first deployment together and I have to admit that it is a bit more rough than I thought it would initially be. We don't have any children yet but hopefully some day soon in the not so distant future we will have a little one or two to create a family with. For now we just have a sweet little Pomeranian puppy named Honey Bee. My husband is my best friend and my rock when it comes to hard times in my life. I'd have to say that Nathan is the single best decision I have ever made in my life and I am so thankful to have such an amazing man as him to share it with!

The things I enjoy most...
* Shopping for clothes, shoes and new photography gear.
* Riding my horse "Conan", going out to the rodeo in Tuscarora, and going fishing at the pier.
* Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee and a good book.
* My Nikon D40 and Photoshop CS5
* Hallmark, Tractor Supply, and IKEA.
* Taking photos (my camera is always strapped to my hip) of everything because I believe pictures always make memories last a lifetime.
What I love about my life in photography...
* I admire all of my fellow photographers for their inspiration and support.
* I am constantly driving around looking for new locations to possibly have some photo sessions.
* There isn't a single day where I go without taking at least a hundred photos.
* I shoot on location and with natural light only, so as to pull in details of the setting or someones life into their photos to make them as personal as possible.
* I want to capture your life as it is. I see beauty in everyone and everything, and I strive to show that to you with my photography.
* I am always looking around on other sites and meeting new photographers for inspiration, it's amazing what you will learn by just seeing someone else while they are working.
* I believe that together, you and I will make some beautiful images. Not just me and not just my camera.
* I try to capture the moments in between - ones that aren't planned or posed. My shoots are fun and laid back and I am open to any ideas from my clients as to how to make their session more comfortable and personalized to their style!
* I put every ounce of my creativity into our sessions, beginning to end. From location, to the shoot itself, and my very OCD editing style!
* I want to give you more than a disc of pictures that you go home with and love. I want to give you images that capture you and your family as you are in THAT moment of time so 20 years from now you can look back and really see yourself or really see how your toddler was (in all their sass and glory!).
As some of you may know, I am also a Mary Kay Independant Sales Consultant...
*I LOVE doing someone else's makeup and teaching them about skin care.
*I enjoy talking to women about their skin care and how they can look flawless at any age.
*My Mary Kay Sales Director, Beth May is probably my God send, the woman is a Saint! (Love you Beth)
*Oh, and did I mention that I am dying to eventually get my Mary Kay Pink Cadillac!
